Step 1: What do you need to bring?
All individuals will need three items to begin the live scan process.
1) A valid government issued photo identification (Example: Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, Resident Alien Card, Work VISA).
2) A second form of identification such as debit/credit card with name.
3) The designated ORI and/or OCA code numbers.
When you come in, we will scan your fingerprints using our live-scan device, allowing all fingerprints to be collected and making the process as efficient as possible.
Upon completion, we will verify your email you have registered your appointment with or if you’re a walk-in, we will take down your email. Once we are notified that your prints have been completed, we will email you immediately.
These fingerprints are then sent electronically to the FDLE, who will then send them to the appropriate governing agency such as AHCA, DCF, DBPR, etc.
The process will take between one to two weeks. We will need about a week to correct, make any remarks or comments to fingerprints that have lower grades and scars. We do have a large number of volume for fingerprints to be processed and you will be notified our process time during your appointment. Please allow some time for your designated agency to process the results. Any findings (criminal records, unclear information) on your personal record can delay the process.
